850 Quartz 42mm Aviator

I love this watch and have worn it every day since I got it. I returned a Seiko I’d dreamed of and was very disappointed in, in terms of accuracy and legibility and after my Stührling—little details. The glass is subtly matted and doesn’t reflect when I’m trying to read it...things like that. Certainly not my last of this brand 

This watch absolutely checks all my boxes for watch and does it well. Let’s start with functionality. The contrast of the numerical indices and hands makes for perfect legibility (my coworker said he can read it across the room). The distance that the numbers are inset on the dial makes for greater viewing angles. The day/date window is easily readable (which is not the case with most watches). There is hardly any glare at all on the crystal. It’s a perfect size and weight to wear all day. After a week of wearing it, time is exactly on the second. Band is comfortable right out of the box. The only thing that I could say as a very slight con is that the second hand lines up on the indices for about half the dial (I have watches two and three times more expensive that does the same so that is just splitting hairs). Aesthetically the shade of black on the dial is like a flat black and the case is not shinny (which I love). Just a great looking watch. I could say a lot more but that should suffice for the main points I like.

It’s my second Aviator watch I purchased and I am enjoying it, is design to look like a pilot flying machine. It’s a beautiful craftsmanship that is around us to feel the adventure of Stuhrling watches.

I’ve received tons of compliments on this watch, I own a few of their watches and this one always gets asked about the most. Very well made too which is appreciated.
