I've been following the Stuhrling line for a while and finally pulled the trigger on this watch.
I have a large wrist (8.25") and this fills my wrist just fine. Though this is a 50MM watch it wears good for me, and does have some heft. The band lugs are angles down and would seam to dig into ones wrist and surprisingly they don't. I would have given it 5 stars except for one thing.... I'd like to have seen some luminescence on the hands or on the numbers. There seams to be space on the hands for luminescence, though it's just white paint.
I love that the beating heart of the watch is seen as well as the back case.
